Thammasat University’s Faculty of Science and Technology Successfully Hosts Insightful Symposiums – ISNSC-12 & TBioS-3, in Collaboration with PETROMAT

The 12th International Symposium on Nano & Supramolecular Chemistry (ISNSC-12) and The 3rd Thailand Biorefinery Symposium (TBioS-3) took place in Chiang Mai, Thailand from July 23 to 25, 2023. This prestigious event welcomed more than 200 participants from 22 countries, featuring esteemed plenary and keynote speakers such as Prof. Rafael Luque from King Saud University and Asst. Prof. Sho Yamaguchi from Osaka University.

The symposiums were inaugurated with welcoming addresses by Assoc. Prof. Supetch Jirakajornkul, the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, along with Prof. Yang Kim from Kosin University, Assoc. Prof. Kittipong Chainok as the conference chair, and Assoc. Prof. Chanatip Samart as the co-chair. Distinguished professors and students presented their research findings, fostering knowledge exchange and collaborative efforts in fields like Supramolecular Chemistry, Nano-Science & Technology, Catalyst & Material Science, Biorefinery, and more.

Covering topics such as Frontier in Biorefining, Development of Biochemical Processes in Biorefinery Industry, and Novel Technology in Biorefining and Circular Economy, these symposiums aligned perfectly with PETROMAT’s visionary project, “Hub of Talents: Sustainable Materials for Circular Economy.” The Faculty of Science and Technology’s successful hosting of ISNSC-12 and TBioS-3 marked a significant celebration of Thammasat’s 90th Year next year.
