11th International Symposium on Feedstock Recycling of Polymeric Materials 2022 (ISFR 2022) was joined by 10 keynote speakers worldwide at Nongnooch Garden Pattaya, Chonburi, Thailand.
On 30 November 2022, Mr. Natthanun Sirirak (PTT Global Chemical PCL) Prof. Seeram Ramakrishna (National University of Singapore), Prof. Tohru Kamo (Waseda University), and Prof. Bela Pukanszky (University of Budapest) discussed the advances in plastic recycling.
On 1 December, Mr. Attapong Thirasak (SCG Chemicals PCL), Prof. Mohini Sain (University of Toronto), Prof. Hisayuki Nakatani (Nagasaki University), and Mr. Mathias Haake (BASF SE, Germany) highlighted the perspective on recycling of plastics and its journey towards circularity and net zero emission.
On the last day of the symposium (2 December), Prof. Tharapong Vitidsant (Chulalongkorn University) and Prof. Kotohiro Nomura (Tokyo Metropolitan University) presented on topics relating to recycling of plant oils.
Their talks gained the audiences greater understanding in the uses of materials for a sustainable world. Besides this, the ISFR 2022 was organized and certified as a carbon neutral event!
