Hub of Talents: Sustainable Materials for Circular Economy (HubSustainMat) supported the MOU signing between PETROMAT and the Plastics Industry Development Center (PIDC), Taiwan, on November 12, 2025, at PIDC.
The agreement was signed by Prof. Hathaikarn Manuspiya, Acting Director of PETROMAT and Head of HubSustainMat, and Mr. Yao-Kuei Hsiao, President of PIDC, with Mr. Varoon Varanyanond and Mr. Hsiang-Jui Hsu serving as witnesses. The ceremony took place during a study trip linked to the Eco-design Sparking Innovation Award Contest under the MA-RE-DESIGN project, jointly led by GIZ Thailand, Thailand’s Pollution Control Department (PCD), PETROMAT, and HubSustainMat.
The MOU aims to strengthen collaboration in polymer research, green and low-carbon technologies, reuse and recycling systems, and the development of sustainable materials.
Through joint research, technical exchanges, training programs, knowledge sharing, and expert visits, PETROMAT and PIDC—supported actively by HubSustainMat—will work together to accelerate innovation, advance academic excellence, and drive industry transformation toward a more circular economy.
