Hosted by Henan University and the Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, the conference followed the successful APAC Green & Sustain 2025, held in Bangkok, Thailand, in November 2025 and organized by the Hub of Talents: Sustainable Materials for Circular Economy (HubSustainMat) and PETROMAT.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”9741″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_single_image image=”9747″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/12″][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/12″][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”5\/6″][vc_column_text]This year, Prof. Hathaikarn Manuspiya, Head of HubSustainMat, chaired APCS-2 and delivered a plenary lecture titled \u201cTailoring Porous Bacterial Cellulose Janus Membranes for Sustainable Oil-Water Separation.\u201d Other HubSustainMat members, including Prof. Boonyarach Kitiyanan, Asst. Prof. Bhumin Than-ardna, and Dr. Satita Thiangtham, also contributed through oral presentations showcasing research on green chemical recycling, CO2 capture, and biomass waste valorization.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”9744″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_single_image image=”9739″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/12″][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/12″][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”5\/6″][vc_column_text]The conference brought together researchers and experts to exchange knowledge and discuss advances in green chemical engineering and sustainability, featuring approximately 240 oral topics and more than 80 poster presentations.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”9742″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_single_image image=”9740″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/12″][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/12″][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”5\/6″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

The scientific program explored six key themes spanning green chemical processes, biomass and waste valorization, carbon capture, low-carbon technologies, energy materials, and AI-driven innovation. Additional forums and networking activities fostered knowledge exchange and strengthened engagement between researchers and industry professionals.<\/div>\n
